Level Up Your Instant Noodles
Yes, after a loooooooooong hiatus that almost brought this blog to oblivion, here's one very simple instant recipe for levelling-up your...yes instant noodles.
Instant noodle soup is considered a staple especially among university students who from time to time would have to extend every cent they have before receiving the next allowance. But many also see a bowl of piping hot instant ramen as comfort food-- when one is sick, or home-sick, or simply craving for hot noodle soup, Instant noodles is the answer.
Here's one way of breaking the monotony of your daily instant noodle soup fix: (1) Cook the noodle soup following the packaging instruction. (2) Put in last night's veggies and meat, mix a tablespoon of curry paste (put less or more depending on your preference) (3) let the soup simmer for about 5 minutes and (4) Top the noodle soup with a soft boiled or poached egg.
Here's the combination I used: Chicken flavored HK instant noodles, leftover steamed bok choi and siomai, and 2 teaspon of curry paste.
What's your favorite combination in levelling-up your instant noodles?
